Que melhor momento do que este que estamos a atravessar, para abraçar o desafio de transformação societal inevitável, de modo colaborativo? No âmbito do projeto FUTURO EM MONSANTO financiado pelo Programa da Rede DLBCP estão abertas as candidaturas ao programa Laboratório de Co-Liderança realizado pela REBUNDANCE.

FUTURE IN MONSANTO
In the context of the current pandemic (which attacks the lungs) Monsanto, Lisbon’s green lung, may become the symbol for urban resilience. This project aims to increase the resilience and well being of the local communities in the crown of Monsanto, to reestablish an interdependent relationship within the communities and with the ecosystem of the forest. Making accessible the mountain’s available endogenous and renewable resources will contribute to shifting the mindsets from scarcity to an abundant and prosperous local economy.

This project will address the topic of the future of food and water in the context of community resilience.

In this project we will address the topic of the future of food and water in the context of community resilience and we will be working with the neighbourhoods of 2 de Maio, Casalinho da Ajuda and Sete Moinhos. 

This project will manifest in six activities which will take place between the beginning of 2021 and the end of 2023: 

1. Curating and holding space for 20 circles (over the 3 years duration of the project) with locals and stakeholders to address local needs, mainly focusing on the future access to resources, in the context of community resilience.
2. Two 6 day (each over 3 months) immersive co-leadership program for 30 activists (locals and stakeholders) to embrace personal, collaborative and planet engagement transformation – the first will take place in 2021 and the second in 2022.
3. Two (english speaking) local leaders will be invited to join each of the five editions of the REBUNDANCE creative leadership program between autumn of 2021 and autumn of 2023.
4. Four “Reality Dives” will allow Stakeholders to meet these neighborhoods around Monsanto, support us in unraveling endogenous abundance and their insights will be collected. 
5. Collecting data during all interventions to delayer local needs and intentions which will contribute to a dynamic survey aiming to complement and update available data. 
6. A small amount of money will be available to kick start an emerging community lead project consensually decided in the context of the 20 circles.

This project will build bridges with other ongoing projects (local and international) to create the fertile ground for synergy.

O primeiro de dois programas de Co-Liderança que iremos realizar ao abrigo deste projeto terá lugar entre Setembro e Novembro de 2021, tem como foco o contributo individual e de uma comunidade para a regeneração do planeta. O programa é presencial, imersivo (6 dias ao longo dos 3 meses) e proporciona um espaço seguro para 30 ativistas (locais e stakeholders) realizarem a sua transformação pessoal, colaborativa e ativa. É constituído por três áreas de capacitação, que se entrelaçam: o relacionamento connosco próprios, o relacionamento em equipa e o relacionamento com a comunidade. Não existindo uma componente teórica, todos os temas e ferramentas apresentados neste programa são

aplicados na prática, em projetos que os participantes irão desenvolver em equipas. As ferramentas que colocamos em campo são oriundas de linhas de pensamento como o Design Thinking, o pensamento sistémico, a sustentabilidade e resiliência societais, entre outros. Os objetivos do programa são conseguir ampliar a curiosidade de cada participante, ativando o propósito de cada qual, conseguir crescer a compaixão que nos liga à comunidade e conseguir ativar a coragem que nos permite atuar no sistema –  tudo num espaço seguro e aberto à aprendizagem contínua, para tornar a liderança local mais partilhada.

É importante que pelo menos metade da turma seja constituída por pessoas que habitam ou que têm uma dedicação explícita aos territórios que abraçamos no projeto Futuro em Monsanto: Bairros 2 de Maio, Casalinho da Ajúda e Sete Moinhos. As características que iremos privilegiar nos participantes (em entrevistas que serão serão conversas informais):

• Um comprometimento com o território de Monsanto e motivação para atuar
• Paixão pelos temas centrais de inclusão social, prosperidade alargada, sustentabilidade ambiental
• Integridade entre crenças, atos e atividades quotidianas
• Contributos para o bem-estar e prosperidade alargada
